Communicating mathematics beyond research: how (and why) to reach out to a broader audience

In this session, we explore how mathematicians can engage in science communication and why they should do so. Three speakers will share their experiences, from demonstrating the practical relevance of mathematics to making abstract concepts accessible and showcasing the beauty of mathematics. We will discuss different opportunities and hope to inspire you to do some science communication on your own!

This session is organized by Young KWG, the section which aims to attract and support young mathematicians in the early stages of their careers.
